The following are selections from online courses that I have developed for various clients.
The following video shows a customer service training that can be regenerated and branded to a specific brand. It was developed using MS PowerPoint, Genially, Synthesia, ElevenLabs, Camtasia, and loaded onto a LearnWorlds LMS platform. I followed the ADDIE design framework and utilized Robert Gagné’s Nine Events of Instruction as well as Kirkpatrick's Evaluation Model. The course underwent three rounds of usability testing, UDL reviews, and every effort was made to ensure learner accessibility. I incorporated ethical AI for generating ideas and used CoPilot and Claude as a learning partner.
The following samples show how I use detailed instructional design plans and prototypes to carefully map out online instructional courses. Designing accessible learning content using ADA/WCAG standards and using proven adult learning principles like Merrill's 5 Principles of Learning are non-negotiables as part of my design process and inform how and why I design online learning content.
For a Rapid development project, I prepared a working prototype for an interactive onboarding training for new hires at a recovery center specializing in mental and physical rehabilitation. For this mobile-based training, the Rapid Instructional Design Model combined with Robert Gagné's Nine Events of Instruction offers an optimal framework. This approach also leverages AI-enabled tools to create an efficient, engaging online eLearning course, ensuring new staff quickly grasp essential protocols, patient interaction strategies, and rehabilitation techniques.
