Educational Testing Service (ETS) - Contract Instructional Design - Test Development
The following Quality Assurance (QA) Checklist serves as a tool to review courses and instructional activities. I created this QA Checklist to cover the important facets of QA that I have encountered on different projects. I recently used it to review a course for Employee Professional Development.
Prompt:
• A recent project was a Department of Defense (DoD) contract with Tipping Point Solutions.
• This project was for the Army Defense Language Learning and Culture Program to design a complete language course for the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, French, Korean, Russian, and Spanish.
• The 120-hours long eLearning courses involved 6 modules per language, a Facilitator Guide and self-study learning materials (Enrichment Materials). The courses underwent rigorous internal and external testing and individual and group feedback.
• I worked closely with 2 Senior Instructional Designers, 2 Project Managers, Developer teams and Media teams to lead 8 Instructional Designers and collaborated with over 30 Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to refine content and course materials based on feedback evaluations.
• In addition to acquiring linguistic content and tracking all copyright permissions for the videos, images, and text in the course, I contributed to writing an Instructional Media Design Package (IMDP), 2 Validation Reports, language-specific glossaries, and Facilitator Guides for each language.
